Can I use I-140 for H1B extension approved by old employer?

My I-140 was approved when I am with company A, now I moved to company B, they have started my Perm process after 1 year of my joining. Now 2 years –4months are completed still they are saying my Job classification is pending with DOL (Department Of Labor), my H1B will expire in another 8 months. Can I use my old I-140 for my H1B extension? Appreciate your responses.
