However, I forgot to file my wife's H4 extension along with it (her H4 is gonna expire in Sep 2015). The problem is that we are planning to travel to India in second week of October 2015, so I am wondering if I file the H4 extension this week...what will be my options if we don't hear a case update from USCIS even until or after our travel dates? Also, please note that both of us will need to get our Visas stamped in India. Thanks in advance for any suggestions Link to comment
jairichi Posted July 28, 2015 Report Share Posted July 28, 2015 As long as extension is filed before I94 expiry she is fine. If approval does not happen before travel then she can apply for a H4 visa at US consulate to enter US. Link to comment
