simi_g Posted July 24, 2015 Report Share Posted July 24, 2015 Hi, I applied cos from h1 to L2 in may 2015, it is been 2.5 months but no update since i got the receipt number. When i called USCIS they mentioned Vermont SC is processing January i539 applications and may take longer time to get an update. I have applied EAD also on Jun 15 2015. Please help me with the below questions: --> Can i go to India or canada to get L2 stamped while my I539 & I765 are pending with USCIS, If i can go what happens to my pending I539 & any impact to my EAD i765? --> My spouse's L1 petition expires by end of this year 2015 (though he has valid visa for total of 5 years), is it safe to go out of USA now? --> I have 1 more year on my h1b visa , can i initiate H1 transfer thru a consultancy while my i539 & i765 pending with USCIS.
