RBarai Posted July 18, 2015 Report Share Posted July 18, 2015 I am a 19 years old and a US citizen by birth but have been living with my parents in their homeland India since I was 1 month old. I have never been to the USA and have never lived their. Can I apply for a Green Card/ Citizenship for my parents as I am an adult now. I have a younger sibling, a sister who is 17 years old. Can i apply for her also ? Is there any age limit for my sister before which I can apply? Do I have be in USA to apply for them or can I apply from India. I am still living in India. Link to comment
JoeF Posted July 19, 2015 Report Share Posted July 19, 2015 You have to be 21 before you can sponsor your parents. And you need to show enough income above the US poverty level. Sponsoring a sibling takes 12+ years. Link to comment
