I just received the favorable recommendation from the state of department. Where can I check the USCIS decision? Is my receipt number the one of the state of department?

Check it on USCIS website. You'll get a receipt number from USCIS by email and/or postal mail. No need to contact DOS anymore.

I am sailing in the same boat havent received USCIS receipt number. Have you got the number ? if not how did you contacted USCIS ?
