H1B Regular Extension processing time -- Mine applied on July 14 2015

I have applied on July 14th. Thinking to update it to premium if it takes longer than 2 months.

I need to renew drivers license and need to travel to India after 3 months. So confused to stay in regular or Update premium.

 

Can someone let me know how much processing time to extension is taking these days

USCIS started accepting premium processing effective 07/13/2015. (Previously, it was 07/27/2015 because of H4 EAD)

I filed my H1B extension on 03/25/2015 and got approval on 06/15/2015. I am thinking they took this much time, because of H4 EAD and the regular CAP petitions from 04/01/2015. 

 

Anyways. it is 60 days for H1B extension if normal and 15 business days for premium processing.

        My H1B extension is also applied on July 9th in Reg Processing as Premium suspended at that time. My current H1B is valid till mid of Nov. Not sure if i need to keep in Reg processing or upgrade to Premium.

You are good to stay on regular processing unless you have any travel plans out of United states.

Have you got the H1B extension Receipt Notice from Uscis. Let me know if you have received it. I am still waiting for mine.

I filled my regular application on July 10th, still waiting on receipt number. My current visa expire on Sept 1. Worried about it now.

You need to follow up as you need a receipt of H1B Extension to be in status and renew drivers license

I got my approval in 4 days after upgrading it to premium ...
