Will there be any issues with my H1. Also, what is the earliest that I can initiate an H1 transfer as I have another offer. Link to comment
jairichi Posted July 13, 2015 Report Share Posted July 13, 2015 If you plan to enter in Oct you need to enter with a valid H1B visa and I797. After your entry on H1B a new employer can initiate H1B transfer. Link to comment

jairichi Posted July 21, 2015 Report Share Posted July 21, 2015 I plan to enter on Sept 28. You are fine to travel with valid F1 visa, OPT-EAD and supporting documents. If your H1B was approved as COS then from 1st Oct you will move to H1B status. Link to comment

If your H1B was approved as COS then from 1st Oct you will move to H1B status. But my I-94 # will change when I re-enter US and the I94 # would be different from the I94 # associated with my H1.
