H4 to F1 (OPT work time issue)

Hi,

 

Below is my situation, please help on this query ?

 

1) Worked on L1B for 4 years 6 months.

2) Change of status approved from L1B to H4.

3) Currently on H4 since 1 year.

4) Planning to convert to F1.

 

Question is

 

"Will I get full OPT of 29 months with extension since my masters program is under STEM category or

Since I have already worked on L1B for 4 and half years, will I get OPT for only 1 and half year??

 

Do OPT work time contributed towards 6 years H1B work time??

Yes, previous work in L1B status has nothing to do with OPT.
