sdv1101 Posted July 7, 2015 Report Posted July 7, 2015 Hello Experts, I am currently working in India. Earlier I have travelled to US for 3 weeks on H4 with paid leave (Compensatory leave). As per my companies policy I get comp off's for my overtime in lieu of overtime pay. My visa has expired and would attend the H4 interview later this month. During the interview, can I expect any questions regarding my previous H4 travel? And is it ok that I mention that I am on comp off on my earlier travels? I read it somewhere that one should not get paid (even in the home country) when on H4. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.
jairichi Posted July 7, 2015 Report Posted July 7, 2015 No issue at all. It is not one should not be paid but one should not work on H4.

Yes, you should tell the truth during the interview 3. That shouldn't be a big deal since you are not working during your stay in US.
