L1Bextenstion Posted July 2, 2015 Report Posted July 2, 2015 Below are my US entry and exit details 9/20/2009 to 12/21/2009 - 3 months - Old L1B 9/26/2010 to 1/29/2011 - 4 months - Old L1B 9/11/2011 to 8/18/2012 - 11 months - Old L1B Stayed for 9 months in India and got new L1B 5/4/2013 to 12/20/2013 - 7 months - New L1B 1/3/2014 till date - New L1B I know total stay for L1B is 5 years.I am currently in new L1B . If i go for L1B extension, will i get two more years considering new L1B or it is based on total stay including old L1? Please help us to understand how many months i would get for L1B extesnion.
jairichi Posted July 3, 2015 Report Posted July 3, 2015 NEW L1B does not matter. Your total L1B stay is 5 years that include old L1B and new L1B.
