Emergency Visa Appointment date in Canada

Hello Community members,

 

I found like others that earliest visa appointment dates are available in September but I wanted to travel in Last week of July to first week of August and was hoping to receive dates within that time frame. 

 

I saw that there is an option called Emergency/Expedite Visa Appointment request. Is anyone tried using that option?

 

There are few criteria listed of emergency reasons and none of those reason matching to my reason. (my reason is to attend my friend's marriage in Canada and get stamp while going there).

 

Can anyone share experience of "Expedite Request" for appointment dates? and What is the best approach to check first available dates?

I doubt your case falls under emergencu or expedite request category. Contact the consulate directly.
