communicator123 Posted June 28, 2015 Report Share Posted June 28, 2015 One of my cousin is in US now as a visitor on B1/B2 visa. His I-94 valid until end of August. We applied for his extension of stay in Mid of May. Application status in USCIS website showing as "Fee for My Case Was Received". Can he stay in the US while application is being processed after his I-94 expires? Or can he apply for F1 status by enrolling in a university? Thanks in advance. Link to comment

jairichi Posted June 30, 2015 Report Share Posted June 30, 2015 Without a valid reason an extension will be denied. If your cousin exits US after denial of extension his visitor visa automatically stands void. Admission to universities to study is long over. Link to comment
