Travel on B1/B2 from 'X' Employer to his 'Y' Client

Hi Experts,

 

One of my friend is having B1/B2 VISA and planning to travel through 'X' employer to attend meeting for one his 'Y' Client.

 

Can my friend travel?

what are the necessary documents to carry?

 

Employer 'X': has business in India and USA

Client 'Y': USA

 

Who has to provide the invitation letter? Employer 'X' or Client 'Y'?

If Client 'Y' is providing the invitation letter? Along with that, does my friend has to show the Offer letters and company association as proof at port of entry?

 

Purpose of travel: two cases

Attending meeting with 'Y' client representing employer 'X'.

Attending meeting with 'X' Employer representing employer 'X'

Don't worry about your friend, tell your friend to get the req documents from his employer. His employer will take care of it, you just stay away from it.
