DUI - Was planning R2I - How to come back for any court appearance

Hi,

I am on L1 visa working in Houston. Few weeks back, I got arrested for DUI. No accident, injuries, child passenger, etc. In fact, I think my BAC might even be less than 0.08. 

I was planning to go back to India for good in Aug 2015 and had already made most of the preparations. Now, I really don't want to change the plans, but at the same time I wish to keep my records clean.

My plan is to apply and get B1/B2 visa as soon as I reach India to travel for any potential court appearances. Is this feasible? 
Or, is there any other simple solution other than cancelling my R2I in Aug?

You need to discuss this with your criminal lawyer, and immigration lawyer.

You have lawyers, do you? If not, get a criminal lawyer, and an immigration lawyer ASAP.
