mohan1985
Hi, I am planning to apply visitors visa for my parents. Currently I am on H4 visa but my wife is on H1b visa her visa is going to expired on 30th sept. She applied for extension which is in process. I would like to know does she can sponsor visa for my parents for her in laws. Does h1b visa validity matters to visitors visa. While filing DS-160 there is option who filled this form so what should I mention over there? bcz my wife is going to fill the form. Secondly my parents names are printed perfectly but address is bit different does it matters in visa interview. Link to comment
jairichi
There is no sponsorship for a visitor visa. Your status in US does not matter. Your parents can apply for their visa based on their documents. Link to comment

livliv
The question 'who filled the form' is about actual filling of the form and has nothing to do with sponsorship. There is another question, 'who will pay for the trip'. Answer that truthfully as to whoever is going to pay for the trip. There is no sponsorship for the Visa itself. Your parents apply for the Visa themselves. Link to comment
