xapevent Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 Hi I attended h1b interview at Mumbai consulate in 9th jan 2015 and my visa was approved But still haven't got any email for passport pickup. Online status shown "administrative processing" Anyone has same experience can you please share? Could this be because of the technical glitch? Thanks
Circumspect Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 Yes, according to the State dept website, visa issuance will be disrupted because of the technical issue with the Consular Consolidated Database. I attended the interview on June 9th as well (in Vancouver) and my status still says Admin Processing.

Circumspect Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 I haven't received my passport. The status on CEAC says Admin Processing. I dont think we will hear any updates until the State Dept. resolves the issue. Even after then, we will be part of the backlog - that's what scares me!

Attended interview on 9th and 10th June Mumbai Consoler told Visa is approved but online status shows "admin processing " msg. its really frustrating . Please inform me if anyone got HIB visa stamped after 10th June.
xapevent Posted June 22, 2015 Author Report Posted June 22, 2015 finally.. seems like the technical issue is resolved. I got my passport back today. Visa Interview date was 9th June 2015 status changed to "Issued" on 22nd June. hope everyone will start getting their passport back soon..

alltimerock Posted June 25, 2015 Report Posted June 25, 2015 My visa interview was on 17th June, still waiting for the passport.... The status says "Your passport is still with the Embassy/Consulate" Anybody in the same timeframe?
