Mother visit visa: Me or my wife invite?

Hi All,

 

Here is my scenario and please suggest me.

 

I am planning to bring my mother to visit couple of places in USA for 3 months during this summer time. She need to go for visa interview.

My employer applied for H1B extension and still its under review. My I797 expired 2 months ago. 

My wife also working on H1B visa and her I797 is valid till 2017.

 

With this scenario, who is the best person to invite her? Me or my wife?

I mean, whether I or my wife need to send all supporting documents like I134, paychecks, W2, invitation letter etc?

Your status in US has nothing to do with your mother's visitor visa. Anyone of you could send those documents. She needs to apply with her documents showing that she has strong ties to home country and intends to come back.

Just invitation letter is fine, no need of W2 etc.

It doesn't matter who invites.
