H4-EAD allication question

Hello,

  I am applying H4-EAD based on approved I-140 option.I do not have a copy of I-797 approval notice for I-140 but i do have the receipt number.But the application packet does not provide any provision for providing the receipt number...Can somebody please advice me on how to attach the receipt number with the application packet.

Ask your employer for a copy of I797 approval notice.

Employer is not willing to give the copy...They say that the receipt number should be enough which according to the instructions of the application is correct..I am just not able to understand how to attach that with the application.

Just make a copy of that receipt and send it along with the application.
