H1B Status 'Name was updated' can anyone let me know the meaning of this status

On April 29, 2015, we updated your name for your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXXXX. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

 

Since 29th April 2015, my case is in 'Name Was updated'. in the case history it shows that we have received your address change request and we will verify and correct if required.

 

 

I have not raised any request for address change and dont know why its showing like this.

can any one let me know what does this status mean thanks for your help

It might be an error. Your employer/attorney can check with USCIS.

USCIS website is not meant to be accurate. For concerns like this employer/attorney has to contact USCIS and get this matter resolved.
