Bahamas Visitor visa for B1 ? via Cruise

Back in 2011 we (H1 & H4 with valied US visa) visited Bahamas via Cruise without visitor visa.

 

Does the same rule apply for B1 visa folks with Indian passport ?

 

This is for my cousins who are visiting US in couple of months.

I am planning to visit the bahamas via cruise with family that includes all indians with H-1b, J-1, B1/B2 visa holders and after a lengthy search for what the correct immegration requirements I was unable to know the real answer. So finally I have decided to get visa through their embassy in US for each $100.

 

I have considerable confidence that it will not be checked but still don't want to take a slight risk.
