Basically they say that there havent seen any activity yet on my H1b petition yet in normal processing. Can you please let me know if this is possible this late in May ?
JoeF Posted May 22, 2015 Report Posted May 22, 2015 Yes, it is possible. USCIS selects more applications than slots. That way, if some applications are denied, they can fill the slot.

If you did not receive your petition number by now, then chance of getting H1B is very very bleak. You will receive the packet by end of June/July. USCIS will not encash the application fee unless your application is picked in the lottery.
