H1-B Transfer: Issue with Admit Until date on I-94

Hi,

 

I have recently changed my employer and while my petition was in transfer process, I had to travel on an emergency to India. H1-B transfer got approved and the approved copy was not received by me while I was returning. So at the port of enrty, I have only got I-94 as per my old petition/visa. But due to this my I-94 on transfered petition got invalidated as the I-94 received at POE is the latest.

 

H1-B Transfer approved until : 30 Mar, 2017

I-94 on H1-b Transfer is until 30 Mar, 2017

 

but due to my latest entry I-94 admit until date is 10 Oct, 2015. which is as per my old visa.

 

Can you tell me what is the best way to get it updated?

 

Some more details on my travel:

H1-B Approved date: 16th April, 2015 (as per USCIS website status tracker)

H1-B Approved notice was sent by USCIS on 20th April, 2015.( as per USCIS website) but it was actually received by employer on 22nd April, 2015.

 

My entry date to US is also 20th APril, 2015.

 

Is there a way to correct this at CBP or USCIS?

 

Any suggestions or comments would be of great help.
