Dear Forum members, your early replies are appreciated. I have a green card through my ex-spouse who was a H1B holder. Unfortunately we divorced. He became a US citizen three years ago. He was a total fraud. My health was failing during the divorce and I was unable to find employment and returned to India every 6months and maintained GC status for the first 5years to qualify for continuos residency. However last year, I had so many health reasons that I had to return to India and be with my parents. I stayed back in India for more than a year now. I got GC in Sept 2008. Maintained status till Jan 2014. After that I was in India. I decided not to apply for Citizenship back then. If I decide to re-validate my GC and go back to the US, will I qualify for Citizenship now? My ex- was a fraud and cheat. Still he got his GC and Citizenship. Please advice me. Thank you.

You lost your GC, unless you have a reentry permit.

And forget about your Ex. Go on with your life.
