Do you know if the GC filing fee needs to be paid by the employer? Is there is a reference guide where it explains who needs to pay what fees while filing for Green Card? Please let me know, Thanks! Joe.F Posted October 18, 2010 Report Share Posted October 18, 2010 There are several steps, and for some of the steps it is ok if the employee pays for them, for other parts it is not ok. The employer absolutely has to pay for the PERM Labor certification (LC), including all lawyer costs related to that. That is the law. The employer can not get reimbursed for that in any form.
