Travel to India through Frankfurt with Expired U.S Visa

Hello,

 

I wanted to know if i need to have transit visa during change of planes at Frankfurt, Germany. I will be traveling to my home country (India) to get H1B stamp to return to U.S.

 

Any recent experience will be helpfull. Thank you.

Hello Cnu - did you go to India for stamping through Frankfurt,Germany, Can you please share your experience during this travel thru Frankfurt? do we need a airport transit visa if our current visa is expired?

 

I already booked a similar ticket, will decide whether to take this route based on your answer.
