Patibandla
Hi, My daughter studying in India and her passport expired in Dec 2014. My self and my wife both are in USA and to apply for my daughter passport, we both went to San Francisco Indian embassy and took the Affidavit from the embassy and sent to India. When my daughter(With her uncle) went to apply apply passport in India, Passport office wanted to bring one more No Objection Certificate. Do we need to get that certificate from Indian Embassy only or can we just get that Notarized from any Notary(Bank or UPS). Please let me know if any one faced the similar issue. Link to comment
cap-gap
what kind of no objection? as you are already aware, there are some that require embassy attestation and some just notarization..they made the embassy websites pretty clear lately.. Link to comment
