madhavisreerangam
Hi, My 13yr. old son is studying in India and I and my husband are staying in US. This summer we are planning to get him to US along with my parents. What kind of questions can be asked at port of entry. Is it ok to study in India as his status is H-4. Link to comment

JoeF
A person by definition only has a status while in the US. So, your child does not have any status. He would enter the US into H4 status. The only questions would be related to him not traveling with his parents. You should give your parents a letter that it is ok for him to travel with his grandparents. Link to comment
madhavisreerangam
Thanks for the reply, My son came to US last summer along with my parents and husband, that time he wants to continue his studies in India, so, we sent him back with my parents, and this summer he is coming again. Is it ok, if he mention that he is coming here to visit us for summer or would that be a problem? Link to comment
