F2 child in High School eligible for internship

My daughter (16+ yrs) is on F2 status while I am on F1 OPT currently with pending H1 application recently filed. She is a junior high school student here in US and for the coming summer she has got an internship offer from a big retail company in their IT division. 

Q1 - Is it ok for her to accept this offer?

Q2 - If she cannot accept the offer because this is a paid internship, and we are able to get it converted to an unpaid internship, would it then be ok for her to accept the internship.

 

We appreciate all your help and advise.

On F2 she cannot work whether paid or unpaid.

On F2, she can not do that, not even unpaid (there are lots of problems with unpaid internships, aside from that, e.g., there is something called minimum wage...)
