Do we get any acknowledgement for H1

Hi All

 

Can you please let me know if my employer gets any acknowledgement number once we file H1 which would help us in finding whether file got picked or not and for further tracking?

Only when picked employer/attorney gets a H1B receipt notice. Otherwise application packet will be returned to employer/attorney.
