L1 to F1 COS

Hi,

 

I was on an L1 visa and got my COS approved to F1 in Nov 2014 and has been attending the college since then. Now, I have a travel coming up in May to India, as a result, I need to visit US Embassy for F1 stamping. Am I at any risk of not getting the F1 stamp despite having F1 COS approval ?
