Did anyone get 221g white slip in the recent times in Vancouver? Can you please let me know how long did it take to get your visa approved?

I got 221g white slip on March 2nd 2015 in Vancouver and I am still waiting for the response from the consulate? 

 

Please let me know if anyone has received the 221g during the same timeframe? Want to know if there is any update? Thanks!

Regular questions only:

 

1. Did you do masters in US?

2. Which School and Major?

3. Is this a renewal?

4. Are you with the same employer?

5. Asked for LCA, paystubs and employer offer letter?

6. Can I see timesheets? - I did not carry them. He took a white slip and asked to submit the timesheets.

Visa_2015: did u check your status on ceac website? What does it say?

Yes. It is in administrative processing. Last updated date is March 6th and my interview was on March 2nd.

Sorry to hear it. I too got 221g - Toronto - February

Absolutely no update at all so far.

Looks like all 221g cases go to Washington DC for clearance from DOS

Pls update us when u hear back.

My visa was issued on March 26th and was asked to collect the passport on March 27th. So it took 23 days to get approved.
