Travel to USA on different I-797 than valid H1 stamp, working on client side

Can you please advise? : I have a approved I-797 from company A and valid H1 stamp on passport from Company B (Stamp valid till Aug 2015). I am working on Client side(company C). My mother passed away so I had to travel to india on an emergency trip. I am in india and planning to trvel to USA.

 

My employer Company A told me that I can travel back to USA if I show I-797 and the LCA for Company C location and travel to USA. My 797 of company A petition is based in Dallas. My client company C is based in California and I have been working there for 2 months.

 

Can I travel with my current H1 stamp and I-797 the the situation mentioned above? Please advise.

Yes, if you have LCA with client address.
