Employer Name Change

Hello,

 

My employer (A) is in the process of acquiring another company (B). The combined company name will be "A B" after the acquisition. I have a valid H1B visa stamp with my employer "A".

 

I am travelling to India end of this month and will be back to the US in April 2nd week. The acquisition process may get completed while i am in India.

  

Since my visa stamp says employer "A" and when i am coming back the employer name will be "A B", would i have any problem in the port of entry.

There may be an H1 amendment needed. Check with your lawyer.
