-EE-
Hi, There is a 15 year old company X in Europe (around 10 employees) that opened a US company "B" to sponsor my h1B about 2 years ago. Therefore company "A" and "B" have the same President/CEO: I got my H1B and I am the only single employee here in the US. The company says they cannot sponsor my green card because there is no enough money going through the company "B" (actually almost nothing because all invoices go to the European company "A"... not to the US!) My question is: - If the US company is not eligible to sponsor my Green card for this financial reason, can it petition for H1B extension at least? The company lawyer tells us that there is no way to sponsor a Green Card for me... but did not want to answer to me for this question because of "conflict of interest" since I do not pay the lawyer myself... Could you please provide me with your advice. Thanks. Err Link to comment
JoeF
For the H1 or an H1 extension, the company also has to be able to pay the salary. If they can't, find another employer. Link to comment
