My father passed away recently and so I want my mom to stay with us(me and my wife) in US atleast for few months so that she can come out of that grieve. Hence, I'm planning to get B2 visa for her. She has all the required documents - Property documents, Bank Balance, House Rental Agreement, Pension documents etc with her to show strong bondage with India(So that VO can assume that she will be back to India) and hence can sponsor herself. I want to know what can be the best reason to convey to VO for US visit. Actual reason for the visit is 'Change of mind, to come out of grief'. Can this be conveyed to VO? let me know if there is any better way to convey the same. Can 'tourism' be a good reason? If yes, wont the VO office doubt her visit just with in short span of her husbands death? Please let me know what can be the best reason and how to convey. Link to comment
