riz98086
Hi, I graduated in December 2013 and worked on OPT form 2/17/14 to 2/18/15. I was late in applying for my OPT (STEM) extension. My application reached USCIS on 2/13/15 (just a few days before my OPT card expiry). Since then i haven't received any updates (i797) from USCIS. On calling them today, one of the immigration officers informed me that my application (i765) was rejected and i will be getting a letter in the mail soon. He didn't have any information on why it was rejected. What are my current available options? Should i stop working or continue till i receive the rejection letter? Will i be able to re apply based on what information they need? I don't understand why i was rejected before they even provided me with a i797 notice of action. Thanks. Any input is greatly appreciated. Link to comment
jairichi
Stop working right away. Wait for the decision notice and act accordingly. Link to comment
