SatyaNC99
Hi All, I applied for COS H4 to F1 on Nov 26th 2014 thro USCIS ELIS. Now the status is still pending. In light of the new EAD Rule, I will be eligible for EAD and so I am considering to remain on H4 as I can avail the benefits of instate tuition and off campus jobs. Could you please help me to know whether this is a right thing to do now considering my situation? Please help me with the process of withdrawing COS application. Can I specify the same reason? Also, does this law allow eligible H4s to start up a business? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Satya. Link to comment
JoeF
You just send USCIS a letter with the case number requesting withdrawal of the I-539. No reason needs to be given. The EAD allows a person to work anywhere, including his or her own company. Link to comment
