Help required in applying B2 Tourist visa for parents

My name is Karthick. I am on H1 B visa and in process of filing B2 Tourist visa for my parents

 

I got below question while filing the DS - 160. Could you please help me with it.

 

My father is working as an Electrician and he is 62 years old. And, he is not associated/working under any organisation or school. His monthly income will vary based on number request comes from clients. Approx 8,000 to 10,000 Rs per month.

But we have own house, plots(lands), fixed deposit and gold jewelries for my mother. 

 

What details should I enter into DS- 160 under the work details sections?

1. Primary Occupation - 

What is the option should I select - BUsiness, Not Employed or Others?

2. If I choose Business or Others - Application is asking to enter Organisation or school name. What should I enter here? Shall I enter as "Self employeed" ?

3. What is the decent amount shall I enter as monthly income? My father is labor and he do not pay any income taxes. and there is no proof for income. Does visa officer ask for proof of income?

 

PLEASE HELP ME TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS. I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP HERE .

3. Average of what he earns. Ask him to get a proper financial document through a qualified CA about his financial standing in home country for the purpose of applying for a visa.

So, there is no option like "Self employed" in the primary occupation list. Shall I choose "Others" from the list and enter "SELF EMPLOYED" in the primary employer or school name field?
