Travel to India while H1B Amendment is pending

Hi,

 

I am working full time and used to work in New York at corporate office.

Recently I moved to Texas and working at Branch Office. My attorney is filing a amendment 

for H1. I need to travel to India. I have my visa stamped.. My attorney said that I can travel to India with  receipt notice and H1b visa stamp.

 

I just want to check with you is it advisable to travel to India while H1B ammendment is pending. What happens if H1B ammendment is not approved. Will it revoke the original H1B application..

Yes, you can travel to India. But, to enter US you need H1B amendment approved.
