OneHB Posted February 27, 2015 Report Share Posted February 27, 2015 My employer was giving me hard time to me when i asked him to appy I140 in PP and finally he never did it in PP. Any guesses..anyone..help appreciated. Link to comment
ashuneel Posted February 27, 2015 Report Share Posted February 27, 2015 SImple. 1. It costs $1250 + attorney fees to upgrade case to PP. Employer does not want to spend that extra money so that you get peace of mind. 2. Employer thinks that you may jump ship once you get I-140 approved so it is a delay tactic. You can legally offer to pay the fees for PP. Find a new employer he does not give you clear answers as it is not a good sign. Generally premium is not required if you know that the priority date is years away and it is a waste of money unless for the above mentioned reasons. Link to comment
