Queries regarding conversion of H4 to H1

Hi Everyone,

 

I am right now in H4 Visa in USA and am looking for consultancy to convert my H4 to H1B. I have the following questions and would need your help in clarifying them.

 

Can I Travel to my home country and return back after the lottery results are announced so that i can convert my H4 to H1. Will there be any issues in case i am out of country when the H1B application is being filed.

 

Also i am right now in my vacation and returning back to home country to join work.Can i also apply H1B from my home country employer too so that i will have a better chance of getting the permit either way.

1. Avoid consulting companies. Find a real employer.

2. If you travel abroad before the H1 is approved, it would be approved without COS.
