H1B DropBox

Hi All,

 

I would like to know whether I am eligible for DROPBOX option (H1B). 

 

Last time I was attended my H1B interview on May'13 and I got it until Oct'13. Now I am staying on H1B extension but I need to go to India for some personal work during the time of coming Feb.   

 

I am working with same client, same employer but my working model is Employer-Vendor-Client. 

 

I do have some questions- 

 

Firstly, Is I am eligible for dropbox option?

 

Secondly, Is Dropoff a good option in India (Hyd)? Can we relay on it for stamping?

 

Thirdly, Does anyone got stamping through this approach?

You are not eligible for dropbox as the latest H1B visa should be valid or expired within the last 12 months.

Actually my H1B term is from Oct'13 to Oct'14 but in between I have travelled only once to India and i,e on May'14 where I got my stamping done in Hyd.  After coming back here , I was applied for an extension which it came again for one year from Oct'14 - Oct'15..  I didnot get you actually .. Can you elborate ...

Not your petition validity but actual stamped visa validity in passport counts for eligibilty towards dropbox. If your stamped visa expired in Oct 2013 then you are not eligible.
