Green card- Can job position be changed after labor approval

Hello,

If the company has field green card for supervisor position and labor is approved, can one take promotion within the same company and department as a manager?

Will this get my GC processing into trouble.

Does career growth with in the same company should stop due to this reason.

Please advice.

LC is for a specific position, if you need a petition for a different position, you will need to re-file (start the process again) for the new position.
