immihelp21987
Hi, Long story short, cop pulled me over for reckless driving and excessive speeding(which is criminal offense in Arizona). Handcuffed me and put me in his car then we had a discussion for a while and then finally, he let me drive home by giving a ticket(Was supposed to go to jail but after pleading for a while he let me go, no finger prints were taken). Appointed an attorney, Reckless driving was dismissed and criminal excessive speeding is reduced to civil speeding and paid fine for it. Questions: 1) On DS-160 form, should I mention as arrested or not? Anyway I can find out if I was arrested or not? 2) Do I need to worry about anything from H1 stamping perspective even though I got a citation for criminal offense which was later reduced to civil charge? Please help. Going soon for stamping. Link to comment
NickPERSON
I received a criminal ticket in arizona as i was going on 100 miles on 75 mile limit and will be hiring a lawyer. Any idea how this will impact the H1 extension and Green card process if I am found guilty ? Link to comment
