Career Change - Development to QA

Hello,

 

           I am a Developer working as a consultant in EVC model.

 

I have an option to change my career from being a developer(Programmer Analsyt) to QA.

 

And I have my PERM filed as Programmer Analyst with I-140 cleared.

 

My question are if I change to QA:

 

1. Should I amend my current H1?

 

2.How the change is going to affect my current & future PERM process?

1. Yes. Ammendment required as per job description.

2. No effect on PERM as you intend to work there in future when GC is available.
