URGENT: WIfe H4 extenstion filed - Need to travel to India urgently

Hi,

 

My H1B extention filed (8th year with approved I-140), still in process.

Filed I-539 H4 extention for wife.

 

Both of our I-94 are expired (12/05)

 

Now due to family emergency wife is travelling to India tomorrow, how to handle the situation?

I believe she has to attend H4 Visa interview in India which is fine.

 

What will happen to pending I-539? Do we need to cancel or withdraw it?

Can she travel to India when petition is expiring?
