Hello, 

 

I have a question regarding the DS 160 form. I have applied for H1B this year and I got approval but my change of status has been denied. So, I again applied H1 amendment requesting for the change of status with supporting documents and again I got an approval (I797) but my change of status was denied again.

 

 I have two receipt numbers for the first petition and next for the H1 amendment petition which both got approved with a denial on change of status. 

 

I am now going to India for stamping and in DS 160 form, I do not know which receipt number to enter. Should I enter the first receipt number that I got when I initially applied for H1b or should I enter the H1 amendment receipt number ?

 

Please help me on this
