Travel - H1B visa stamping in 7th year when I-140 is pending

Hi ,

I am into my 7th year of H1-B and the extended validity of my visa  is till Nov 2015. Just got my Labor approved and my employer is preparing the I-140 which will be filed in couple of weeks.  I'll have to visit India in the month of Jan 2015 for personal reasons. If I travel  I need to get the visa stamped on my passport  as my existing  visa expired on Aug 2014.

 

My question is, will there be any issues if I appear for visa stamping for 1 year extension while my I-140 is pending? Please advice.
