H4 Dependent extension if Passport is exipiring before Full extension period

Hi ,

 

I am on H1B with my dependents Wife and Son on H4 ,  my H1B is being extended for period of 2 years but my Son's ( who is 4 yrs old ) passport is exipiring after 1.5 years , in this case  my Son's I94 on new extended I797A will have the validity of his current passport or will have the validity for full 2yrs of extension.

 

As his passport is expiring after 1.5 yrs so i can not apply for renwal also right now.
