deepa_12 Posted October 29, 2014 Report Share Posted October 29, 2014 I am short of 8 credits for a licensure. I can do 3 online courses from a community college to get me there. The college that I am approaching is telling me that I cannot be studying on H1 B. And I cannot find anything online saying its illegal or not allowed on H1 B. Can someone explain the implication of me doing the courses? I'll be done in 4 months if I did do them. Link to comment
JoeF Posted October 30, 2014 Report Share Posted October 30, 2014 As long as you fulfill the H1 requirements, i.e., work fulltime and get paid appropriately, you can study on the side while on H1. A competent registrar at a decent university would know that. There may be some clueless registrars at some shady institution... Link to comment
